Skin Tightening RF

As our skin ages from the ravages of sun,  hormonal changes, and altered fat distribution, these contribute to the appearance of loose skin, lines and wrinkles.

The use of radiofrequency for skin collagen formation and wrinkle reduction has become increasingly popular.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The "AUDREE" Radio Frequency (RF) system utilises a suction assisted handpiece to gently aspirate the skin in a rolling wave-like action, allowing the radiofrequency energy to be delivered safely and through the epidermis into the deep dermis. The heat generated in the deeper tissue causes contraction of collagen fibres, and this causes skin tightening.

DOES IT HURT?

The treatment is comfortable, with a sensation of heat being generated, which is not unpleasant. The patient is in constant communication with the therapist, ensuring comfort and safety.

WHERE ON THE BODY DO YOU HAVE RF?

skin tighteningFace: Fine lines, deep lines, wrinkles, naso-labial lines, upper lip lines, crows feet, loose skin around upper eye-lids, lower eye-lid pouches, jowls, forehead lines, crepey skin of face, jowls, acne scars.

Neck and Chest: Wrinkled and crepey skin of neck, loose skin of neck, double chin, wrinkled décolleté, sagging breasts.

(Note: While there is no evidence to suggest that RF energy causes breast cancer, patients should conduct their own research pertaining to this matter. We reserve the right
to deny treatment to patients with pre-existing breast cancer or pre-disposition to the development of breast cancer, and will not accept responsibility for subsequent development of breast cancer in patients who chose to have skin tightening treatment on the breasts.)

Body: Loose skin of arms and inner thighs, loose skin of abdomen, loose skin following weight loss or liposuction, wrinkled knees, stretch marks.

CAN ANYONE HAVE IT DONE?

Patients who have the following conditions are not suitable for treatment:

  • Cardiac pace maker
  • Metallic implants or prostheses
