WHAT METHODS ARE THERE FOR HAIR REDUCTION ?
Cynosure Alexandrite Laser - Used on skin types 1-3 - excellent for the hard to get to places, eg top lip and bikini line
Cutera Prowave 770 - IPL Intense Pulsed Light is used on all skin types and excellent for larger areas
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?
When the pulse of light is delivered, some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation.
Topical anesthetic cream is offered prior to treatment.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
Usually around 4 to 8 treatments are required, depending on the individual.
Treatments are spaced approx 6 weeks apart or when the new hair growth appears.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE TREATMENT?
Redness and swelling may be apparent for a few hours after and soothing creams may be applied.
